Optical Transmitter

A device that receives electrical signals from the ethernet controller via the Fiber optic transceiver's Interface Cable and converts electrical signals to optical signals. These optical signals are then transmitted onto the network via the transmit fiber of the Optical Fiber cable through the SMA connector.
