Timbercon Selects New Site for Corporate Headquarters
PORTLAND, OR – May 21, 2004 – Timbercon, Inc. has selected a new site in the Lake Oswego area of Portland to relocate its corporate headquarters, President Eric Meslow announced today. Timbercon has accepted an agreement to lease a newly built, 17,000 square foot facility located on SW 63rd Avenue in Lake Oswego.
Timbercon’s new facility located just south of Portland will be ready for occupation by August 2004. The company will be the primary tenant in building D of the Meridian Business Park.
The new corporate headquarters will incorporate the main offices, research & development lab, production, and warehousing. “Our current facility has become too small for our current and future needs, and cannot support our increasing technology requirements,” states Mr. Meslow. “In addition to increased space, our new location will allow us greater flexibility for and growth and expansion.”
The new Timbercon site was selected from several proposed location around Portland and the surrounding areas. “Of all the sites we considered, this site was selected for the amenities, flexibility, and overall value,” said Mr. Melsow.
Timbercon aims to complete the relocation to the new facility by early September of this year.
