PORTLAND, OR – April 1, 2004 – Timbercon, Inc., an industry leader in the supply and manufacturing of custom fiber optic products and solutions, introduces the Timbercon product builder on www.timbercon.com.The product builder is designed to provide visitors an opportunity to build, specify, request information, or request a quotation on products via the Timbercon web site, saving valuable time and effort in sourcing products.
The Timbercon product builder is a custom built web application developed for easy access to standard and custom product lines, product build and packaging options, and custom product attribute specification. The interface allows the user to select from a list of product lines, from which any product(s) can be customized to fit the individual need of the user. During customization, the user can specify each attribute of a product from a list of all available options for construction, connectors, polish, length, color, and any other options specific to that product.
Once a product has been specified, the product builder will generate a part number and description automatically, which can be sent directly to Timbercon as a request for quote, request for information, or answer any additional questions regarding the product(s).
