Timbercon Is Certified to Manufacture Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies with Fischer Connectors
Timbercon, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been certified as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Fischer Connector’s Fiber Optic Series. This certification ensures that Timbercon can design and manufacture a cable assembly using these connectors to Fischer’s exacting quality and craftsmanship standards. Timbercon offers these assemblies with a wide variety of cable options, spooling variations and accessories.
Fischer fiber optic connectors provide the needed quality and stability for high performance optical links. These rugged fiber optic connectors feature a push-pull latching mechanism for quick mating and demating. Available in plug, panel mount receptacle or jam nut receptacle configurations, the connectors are offered in two or four fibers, and hybrid connectors with two fiber and two copper connections. Ideal for harsh and extreme environments, the connectors have a high ingress protection of IP68 when mated, and IP67 in unmated conditions.
Adding the Fischer fiber optic connector suite to our existing portfolio of specialty connectors allows Timbercon to better serve our customers in the medical, industrial, test and measurement, transportation, broadcast, and military markets.
