Timbercon Expands Sales Force with the Addition of Telecommunications Industries Account Manager
PORTLAND, OR – Aug. 6, 2004 – Timbercon, Inc. sales force expands with the hire of Mr. Kelly Daniels to the position of Account Manager for the Telecommunication and Network Industries. Mr. Daniels will be charged with business development, industry opportunity assessment, customer diversification, and market share growth in these industries.
Mr. Daniels brings to Timbercon, over eighteen years of experience in communication carrier network engineering and an additional three years in R&D manufacturing for communication carrier (Metro and Access) fiber optic equipment. Mr. Daniels has deployed fiber in Cable TV Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (CATV HFC) networks, Telco long-haul, as well as access and inter-network trunks. Mr. Daniel’s work in R&D manufacturing focused on optical drop & insert multiplexers and passive optical network equipment using FSAN technology.

Most recently, Mr. Daniels held an engineering position at NEC Public Networks Group R&D lab in Hillsboro, Oregon.” Previously, Mr. Daniels held Network Development & Design Engineering positions at Novus Communications, GST Telecom, and Telco Planning.
